I appreciate immensely the images that someone posted of Matthews Park. My grandfather, Charles E. Matthews is the namesake of that park.
He, and my family, were no blue-bloods. He was a man devoted to his neighborhood and to common people. He would be enormously proud of the photos you have posted.
